Vintage Inspiration

I know she's everywhere these days and cited as just about every fashion editor, blogger and clothes crazy girls inspiration, but I really love Alexa Chung's style. Of course it helps to have an exquisite face, whip thin body and amazingly long legs - She can basically wear whatever she likes and still look gorgeous and completely fashion forward (to women anyway, my male friends think she might benefit from a good feed)

She does do vintage spendidly and has a knack for the old/new mashup like no-one else. I love her penchant for Peter-pan collars and MaryJane's and some of the vintage dresses she has whipped out this year at various photo ops have been seriously fabulous. Let's have a looky:

Dear Vintage Inspiration,

First and foremost I love the elite and sophisticated nature of your blog! You could not find anyone walking around in a kimono in Sydney so I'm a tad jealous. My name is Sussan and I am the blogger for StyleTread. If you don't know us already StyleTread is Australia's no.1 online retailer in shoes. We have a 100 day full refund policy and free shipping. Meaning you can order as many shoes as you like, try them on at home and return them for a complete refund.

The reason I'm contacting you is because I would like to extend an offer of guest blogging. I know that you focus on overall vintage fashion and I on all things shoes related but I think we could flesh out each others blogs and gain some more followers in the process. I apologise that this e-mail isn't more formal but I want this to be a casual agreement as opposed as a formal one.

Have a look at my blog at: http://blog.styletread.com.au/

I hope to hear from you soon.

All the best

I went to Doll House to get my dress and they promised they would get it in. I was so upset when they didn’t come through for me so I went Sassy Boutique. They were able to get my dress within three 3 days. They had wonderful customer service and nothing was a problem for them. I really appreciated the effort they made to make my night memorable. i will never go to dollhouse again.
